Good news for our region: the Executive Office of Health and Human Services announced funding for Medical Respite Beds, specifically designed for people experiencing homelessness who are in need of medical care. Western Massachusetts received 2 of the 5 awards statewide, including:
- Mental Health Association for 8 beds in Springfield; and
- Clinical & Support Options for 10 beds in Northampton
