CHAPA is advocating for a supportive housing bill that is being re-filed in the current session of the legislature. Our legislators have until next Friday to sign on as co-sponsors. This proposal is directly related to the work of the Western Massachusetts Non Profit Housing Developers group’s Supportive Housing Committee and it would be another tool to address the problem of chronically homeless families. In order seriously meet the challenge of ending homelessness, it is critical that we expand the supply of affordable supportive housing.
