Now that we are so close to a signed contract, our next major step is the hiring of a Regional Coordinator, which is an 18-month consultant position. It is expected that the Request for Proposals will be posted May 13, 2009, with responses due June 2, 2009. With this schedule, we would expect to have a staff person in place no later than July 1.
The Core Group has revised the RFP based on feedback to the earlier blog entry, and issues raised at the March 20 WMIC meeting. The revised version will be circulated to Leadership Council Hiring Committee members, and must be approved by PVPC. When it is in final form, I will post it to the blog.
