On Wednesday, December 12, thousands of area residents will show their support for their favorite nonprofits during VALLEY GIVES, a one-day virtual e-philanthropy event sponsored by the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts and other partners that encourages residents of Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties to contribute to nonprofit organizations over this 24 hour period. On that day, every gift will go even further as participating non-profits will be eligible for special cash awards and the top three nonprofits that have raised the most money will be rewarded with special grants of $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000.
With thanks to the United Way of Pioneer Valley for their assistance, the Western Massachusetts Network to End Homelessness is participating in VALLEY GIVES. We have an exciting opportunity to build awareness of our work and to build resources to get it done. We need all of us to spread the word to make it happen.
