This article on Vermont’s response to COVID-19 was published on November 19. Unfortunately, since that short time ago, Vermont is no longer being spared the COVID spike that is happening across the country (although relatively speaking it is still very low).
Regardless, Vermont’s response in the first months of COVID is examined here and is worthy of our attention. The use of hotel rooms for people experiencing homelessness provided the best possible social distance, and the outcomes tell just how effective an approach that is.
