A big THANK YOU to so many in our Western MA legislative delegation who met with dozens of our Network partners across our four western counties this past week.

We shared our FY26 budget priorities and our 2025-2026 legislative priorities, supported by the most recent data.* Our Network partners did a beautiful and compelling job of sharing the urgent “why” underlying these priorities. Our legislators heard us and we know their commitment runs deep.

We also acknowledged the especially daunting task before us in view of the federal government’s assault on the entire nation’s safety net. We expressed our shared commitment to work together—with all the determination and creativity we can muster—to keep our must vulnerable residents safe.

We know this is just the beginning of this budget and legislative session’s work with our legislators. We look forward to making good things happen together.
