With thanks to the Corporation for Supportive Housing for this organizing effort:
Currently, 30 states cover housing-related services through Medicaid, but this support will be threatened if states receive significantly less funding from the federal government. As Congress negotiates budget reconciliation, up to $2.3 trillion in Medicaid funding is at risk.
Low income individuals, families, and seniors will be hardest hit by cuts to Medicaid, jeopardizing their health, well-being, and housing stability. The loss of Medicaid could drive more individuals into homelessness as their medical costs become unmanageable.
Mark your calendars! On February 6 contact your members of Congress here.
