THURSDAY, May 23: Rally in Springfield to Fight Foreclosures and Evictions!
A call to action from Springfield No One Leaves:
Jeannie, an SNOL member, is fighting Wells Fargo to allow a buyback of her home over the next few months. Several SNOL members are locked into struggles with lenders who are not abiding by the protections allowed in their FHA loans. This rally will highlight these struggles, offer stories, and solutions that require community action.
Please join us on Thursday, May 23, 5:15 pm, at the front steps of Springfield City Hall.
Note: Free parking is available at MGM Casino parking garage, about one block walk to City Hall. Parking on streets in Springfield isn’t free until after 6pm, but metered parking is available in the area. Wear a red shirt if possible.
Join us in solidarity with community members that have shown up for other eviction and foreclosure fighters for years! Let’s show the banks what community looks like!
