The Healey-Driscoll Housing Transition Team is urging us to utilize the incoming Administration’s COMMENT FORM to weigh in on our key priorities ASAP. Specifically, in partnership with our statewide coalitions on Eviction Record Sealing (the HOMES Act) and Right to Counsel in Evictions, we are urging our partners to click HERE and urge the new Administration to pass these two items in its first 100 days.
This is a google form that is easy to use, requires no fancy drafting or crafting and simply needs us to his the “submit” button by the hundreds to bring Western Massachusetts’ housing justice voice to the table.
The turn-around time for the Housing Transition Team’s recommendations is short. That’s why we need to act now to be counted.
Go HERE and start with any version of: “we need eviction record sealing and right to counsel now” and then go from there and let them know why and what else we need. We know the list is long and urgent – they want to hear it; let’s be heard!
