Your perspective as a leading advocate for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and the communities in which they live would be greatly valued by this committee. We ask that you please join us in sharing the key areas you and/or your organization would like to see the Committee and the Legislature focus on this session to fulfill our mandate of advancing equity and justice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. There will not be any specific bills heard during this hearing. The Committee will accept testimony from stakeholders on key areas the Committee and the Legislature should focus on this session. The Committee’s goal is to synthesize the feedback we receive and produce recommendations for the legislature to act on this term.
This is a meaningful opportunity to center the racial inequity in homelessness and the policy changes necessary to address it. Thanks for weighing in!
