To the Springfield-Hampden County CoC–
The FY16 CoC program competition will open next Monday, July 18, with the issuance of an Request for Proposals. Prior to the competition opening, the CoC must agree to the framework and decision-making process for the competition. The CoC Board of Directors will meet this Friday, July 15, at 9:00 am, to review and approve competition guidance.
Please see the DRAFT CoC Application Selection and Ranking Process 2016 providing the framework for the competition. It is based on last year’s guidance, with some changes to reflect new items (or deleted items) in this year’s HUD Notice of Funding Availability.
The CoC is taking comments on the proposed framework. Please email comments to Gerry McCafferty no later than 8 am on Friday, July 15. You may also attend the Board meeting, which will take place July 15, 2016, 9:00 am, at the Springfield Municipal Operations Center, 70 Tapley Street, Springfield.
