Undersecretary Tina Brooks would like to invite you to a meeting of the Worcester and the Springfield/Holyoke community and housing partners related to the Patrick/Murray Administration’s initiative to prevent and end homelessness and the transition of the DTA shelter system to DHCD. This combined meeting will bring together partners from the Central and Western MA areas.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss DHCD’s new efforts to prevent homelessness and stabilize families in housing in relation to the need for family shelter. The first part of the meeting will review our shared goals followed by a discussion among all of our partners regarding the new community of practice. For your information, we have attached DHCD’s proposed system response to housing and homelessness.
The meeting will be held on Friday, June 19th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 Noon at the Worcester Public Library, Saxe Room, 3 Salem Square, Worcester.
