We have an extraordinary opportunity to ensure that the Western Massachusetts Network to End Homelessness continues to provide support across the region in the effort to prevent and homelessness:
Representative Peter Kocot (Northampton) has sponsored an amendment to fund the Western Massachusetts Network to End Homelessness at $125,000. These funds will allow the Network to become a resource for significant data analysis and evaluation of best practices in our region; to identify our gaps and promote solutions on a collaborative basis.
We need YOUR support in bringing this amendment to pass. Please call your representative AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to express your support for budget amendment #422 in support of the Western Massachusetts Network to End Homelessness and ask your legislator to contact the House Ways and Means Committee to urge them to support the amendment as well.
You can find your legislator’s email and phone number by going here.
Special thanks to Representative Kocot for making this amendment possible and for all the Western legislative delegation’s support. They are our champions! And now let us champion them to keep up the great work with our phone calls and emails today.
