Clare Deucher, the Statewide HIV/Homeless Liaison for Disability Determination Services, will present a training about accessing Social Security disability benefits on Monday, April 27th from 9:30AM – Noon in Springfield.  This free training is directed toward case managers who work with homeless clients.

Clare will offer clear and concise explanations of the Social Security benefit programs, basic eligibility factors, and the nuts and bolts of how to effectively access benefits for individuals who are homeless.  Attendees will obtain a substantial amount of information through the oral presentation and printed materials.  The training will allow ample time for Q&A.

Registration is limited to 25 case managers and will be held at 1600 E. Columbus Ave in Springfield.
