Free Regional Trainings for Homeless Service/Shelter Workers — Spring 2011

Topic: The Basics of Preventing Opioid Overdoses and Narcan Responder Training for Homeless Shelter Providers

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, the Department of Housing & Community Development, SPHERE and the Statewide Homeless/HIV Integration Project (SH/HIP), programs of Health Imperatives, will present the following FREE training this Spring.

Topic:  The Basics of Preventing Opioid Overdoses and Narcan Responder Training

Dates and Locations:
Tuesday, March 22, 2011– Brockton
Tuesday, April 19, 2011 — Northampton
Tuesday, May 24, 2011 — Boston
Tuesday, June 21, 2011 — Worcester

Time:  All trainings are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

CEUs:  3.0 CEUs will be provided.

Cost:  FREE

These trainings are intended for staff who work in homeless shelters or other homeless service providers. Registration is required.
