The Joint Housing Committee is holding a hearing next Tuesday, Nov. 14 on two of our priority bills: the local option to enact rent control (S.1299 /H.2103 ) and the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (S.880 /H.1350 ). We can join our statewide partners to get our western MA voices heard!
Join Homes for All MA in the call to action to give cities and towns the chance to stabilize rents and protect tenants:

Join the TOPA Coalition:
The same hearing information as above applies to testify in support of the TOPA bill (you can speak in support of both!). The TOPA Coalition has also provided a one minute action for you to write to your senator and representative urging them to actively support TOPA; and offers sample testimony here.
