The state eviction moratorium ends on October 17. The national moratorium that is in effect until December 31 is not nearly as comprehensive as the state’s moratorium and thousands of households will not be protected by it.

We must let our legislative leaders know we need them to act before October 17 to prevent the wheels of eviction from turning for thousands of our most vulnerable residents in the Commonwealth who are disproportionately people of color. Housing justice is racial justice. We must act now.
