Today, September 22, is the last day to submit comments to HUD opposing its proposed change in its Equal Access Rule protections that allow transgender and gender non-conforming individuals to safely seek shelter at HUD-funded sites, without being discriminated against for their LGBTQ identity.
The best way to ensure these protections remain in place is to submit a public comment by the end of TODAY, September 22, telling HUD that Equal Access Protections must stay.
