Please see this letter to the House and Senate Leadership and the Governor that will be signed by organizations statewide to push for strong eviction and foreclosure moratorium legislation to protect renters and homeowners over the course of the COVID-19 crisis.

The letter will be sent to Leadership and the Governor Sunday, April 5 at 12 noon. The Senate may vote on its bill as soon as Monday. The House passed a bill just yesterday (HB.4615). We need the Senate to build on the House bill to make it as strong as possible. The letter summarizes the key principles that must be included in the legislation to accomplish its goal: protect the lives of Massachusetts renters and homeowners.
