It would be something to discuss with your CoC, which in this instance (Hampshire County) is the Three County CoC, currently coordinated by Peg Keller of the City of Northampton (although transition is afoot there). This round of funding is allocated, but always worth a conversation and a look when the next RFR is issued.

Hello: I received this advice for you from the VA Medical Center in Northampton, MA (where we are based): "The only suggestions I would have for this veteran is to call the caseworker who contacted him to clarify his questions or if possible to go directly to the local medical center homeless program office and ask to speak with someone directly." Best of luck.

I applied for Hud-vash begining of Feb.I was recently contacted by a case worker at the JBVA the other day. I was told that the waiting list is now closed and they do not have any vouchers and that I would have to re-apply. I was also given some phone numbers to get help from( which I have done so since dec 2011). Right now I am starting to feel like I am not getting any help I have been back in forth between the VA, VOA, VAC, and 311. All of which keep refering me to the other. This is really starting to take a toll on me emotionally and I don't know how much more I can deal with.

My question is do I have to apply every month just to be to be placed on the waiting list just in case they get any vouchers?
