Cell phones & minutes for low-income people

This site has previously provided information on free cell phones and minutes for low-income people.  Today a Republican article notes that the program is under-used by people who are eligible.  The phones are a great way to connect people with services, housing and jobs.  Here’s the link to check eligibility and start enrollment.

    I think the number of folks Arise has signed up in the last two months must be over 50…great program in spite of the MassLivfe folks who think poor people get too much of everything.
