Volunteer Service: United We Serve

  What’s that new United We Serve button over on the right?

  The Obama administration is launching a summer service initiative, United We Serve, which encourages Americans to create meaningful change in their communities by engaging in service.   United We Serve kicks off on June 22 and runs through the new National Day of Service and Remembrance on September 11. 

That button takes viewers to the initiatives website, Serve.gov.  The site connects volunteers to volunteer projects.  So, if you need volunteers, post your project; the site has tools to help put a project together.  If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity, you should also go to the website.
